“Ridiculous Life Lessons from New Girl Games“
This article to me was very funny. Everybody assumes video games are just a waste and corrupt little boys. Reading this article it is obvious that this is not true. I am a video gamer and i never really felt that video games affected my ways or thoughts. When most think of video games we think of boys playing Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto and even Madden, but we never think that girls are playing games. This article changes your mind about that. This article is just geared to the girls gamming world and it is really funny. For example the list of games are about teaching girls whats important in their lives. Shopping, boys, Fashion and babies. Just like the games geared to boys they can teach you some lessons on how its great to become these things, but they dont tell you the negatives. For example in the article the one game Top Model, Yes every girl wants to be beautiful and be looked by others but the game doesnt show you the side effect that could result from this. The life a of a Model might not be as great as it really (I Would not know lol). But there are serious disorders that could come with the job. To me this article was funny. It really just showing how the gaming world of girls is just as bad as the gaming world of boys. But maybe from these games something can be learned. With negatives there are usually positives. Just give it time and it will show.

“Is This Man Cheating on His Wife?”
This article is very interesting and weird at the same time. I knew that the second world existed but i did not know it existed to this extent. This is sad in some way. Mr. Hoogestraat is wasteing his life by doing this i feel and yes he is being unfaithful to his wife. Instead of spending time with her, he is playing his game for the entire day only taking breaks to use the batheroom and only to rest his achy wrists. I feel bad for his wife. Her husband has a problem and he needs help. I understand you play this game for a little, but not to the point where it is taking over your life. This article really bothered me because its like this guy enjoyed his second life better then his actually life. Its not like his second life will ever become an reality but it just so sad. This really angred me because i feel when you married to someone you deserve to show them your love and let you know you care about them. This guy is just letting his wife clean up after him and not giving her any attention, which i feel he is being unfaithful to his wife. He should not have gotten married if his second life was going to be more important then his real life. This just bothers me.

This article was really cool. It just goes to show what technology can do yo help us in todays world. Imagine being a person who could not see, you go to the doctor and the doctor tells you we have a solution for you vision. They want to insert a telescope in your eye that will dramatically help your vision. Any person who would be eligible for this should go for it. It really cant hurt you only can help you. It is made specifically for you, the doctor will tell you if you can or can not have this. This is pretty amazing

This article is also very interesting. Rob Spence has lost his eye in a fatal childhood accident. So for years he has been blind in one eye. Since technology has progressed, he is wondering if there are ways that he could benefit from technology. Cell phones are a perfect example because they have tiny camera and wonder how they fit something so small into a phone. So he decided why not put a camera in my eye to simulated what an eye can see. This is a very interesting article because this person is only trying to be like a normal person and maybe a camera in his prosthetic eye is the only way he feels comfortable. Yes some might have problems because he is recording them, but come on put yourself in his shoes?

“Play the Game: Grand Theft Desire”
I am one of those people who have played pretty much all the Grand Theft Auto Games. One of my favorite games was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I would play that game for hours, driving around doing missions and walking the streets of Miami. These were my new favorite types of games because it was a different type of game, a game in which you could anything you wanted. This game was not like your traditional game, Pong, or Pac Man. This is a game that developed from you. Yes some of the things in this game you just said wow they could put this in a game? I remember doing the last mission of Grand theft auto: Vice City. The goal of the mission was to take over the mansion of the Columbian Cartels. There were over a hundred of men in the mansion trying to shoot you. You had to find ways to take them all out and take over the mansion. Once that was complete the mansion was yours and you were now the Tony Soprano of Vice City. So i get what this article is trying to say. Games like this give you so many opportunities, but the creators of these games are creating very old stereotypes and bringing them back. Like in San Andreas you Cj the main character is stereotyped ( In a gang, and poor). Sometimes it makes you realize why people would want to bring this stuff back. The benefit of these games is that it gives you the freedom to do what ever you want, and create you character to what you want, but when is it going to far?

When I first read this article all could say is what! This article is just another example of what could be done with technology. I mean come on how cool is it to post your thoughts on twitter with your brain. Thats pretty sweet. But is it really necessary. I do not think so. i mean come on how many people really need to use something like this. It is pretty cool, i mean how many people can spell somethings like with there brains, it pretty cool but hard to believe haha.

I could not agree more with this article. I think this should be issued in the United States. The problem of web use is not just in Korea, but throughout the world. The Idea of boot camps i feel is a great idea. It takes your mind away from the virtual world and makes you realize the beauty of nature. The government paying for this camp makes it even better. This is what the world has come to, with the advancement in the web, people are becoming addicted and obsessed. These camps will help, by showing you that the web is not all that you need in life, but to enjoy life around you?

This article was very helpful for me for my final project. The world of cyborgs are pretty crazy. It is crating a person or organism with both artificial and natural systems. With a Cyborg there are really no limitations anything can be achieved. This is how my final project relates. Cyborgs and how athletes are trying to become this perfect human. The idea of robots becoming are part of our society are actually becoming a reality. All those movies where robots are walking around doing human things, might and can be a reality.
